tomorrow is opening night for MLB & monday is opening day for the MARINERS, which means i get to leave work early along with my girlfriend megan & best friend kevin to watch my favorite player ICHIRO. the reason i love ichiro so much is that he plays the game the right way & respects it (something i can't say for all players). i love ichiro so much i even named my pet fish LI'L ICHIRO. in 2004, i was lucky enough to be at the game the night he broke the 84 year old record for hits in a single season (262), it was almost as thrilling as watching pearl jam in concert. even though i, along with most of the town, have low expectations for the M's this year, i'll still be there rooting them on from the left field bleachers!!!
